Please note: Most TOTO bowls do not carry their own GPF rating because the flush volume is determined by the tank, not the bowl. The tank controls how much water is released per flush – 1.28 GPF, 1.6 GPF, etc. The bowl simply receives whatever volume the tank delivers. A 1.28 GPF toilet and a 1.6 GPF toilet use different tanks, but the bowl is exactly the same.

Frequently Asked Questions
• What if my order arrives damaged?
While we take great care in the packaging and handling of orders, we ask that customers inspect all shipments within 48 hours of delivery, and in the rare event that your order arrives damaged, please send us an email with a photo showing the damages (so we can file a claim with the carrier), and let us know whether you prefer a free replacement or a refund.
• Why do you ask for phone numbers during checkout?
Some shipping carriers, especially those handling freight, require a phone number to coordinate your delivery. We respect your privacy and guarantee that any information you provide will never be shared with third parties, except for shipping purposes.
• Can I pair this bowl with any TOTO tank?
No. Use an approved tank-and-bowl combination for this exact bowl model. The tank determines the flush cycle and volume, and the bowl must be designed to work with it. Matching color or bolt spacing alone does not establish compatibility.
• Does this bowl include everything needed for a working toilet?
This is a bowl listing, so plan for the matching tank and seat and any separately listed installation items. Confirm the required wax ring or outlet connection, floor bolts, and water supply fittings with the installer. Only items specifically identified as included should be treated as part of the package.
The TOTO Vespin II Universal Height Elongated Skirted Toilet Bowl is designed for use with the ST453U 1.0GPF or ST454E 1.28GPF tank. The Vespin II features TOTO's Tornado Flush, a hole-free rim design with dual-nozzles that creates a centrifugal washing action that assists in rinsing the bowl more efficiently. This version of the TOTO Vespin II includes CeFiONtect, a layer of exceptionally smooth glaze that prevents particles from adhering to the ceramic. This feature, coupled with Tornado Flush, assists to reduce the frequency of toilet cleanings, minimizing the usage of water, harsh chemicals, and time required for cleaning. The Vespin II is designed in TOTO's Universal Height, which allows for a more comfortable seat position across a wide range of users. The bowl is ADA compliant and when paired with its tank, it meets the standards for EPA WaterSense, and California's CEC and CALGreen requirements. Additional items needed for installation and use must be purchased separately: tank, wax ring, toilet mounting bolts, water supply lines, and toilet seat.
