• Does this touchless faucet need an electrical outlet?
The ECOPOWER version generates electricity from flowing water and stores energy for sensor operation, so it does not need a wall outlet. It still contains energy-storage components that can need service over time. Keep the model's maintenance instructions available, especially for extended periods of low usage.

• How is the water temperature set on a touchless faucet?
The sensor turns flow on and off; temperature depends on the faucet's hot/cold supply and mixing arrangement. Use the specified mixing valve or temperature-control setup and have the installer set the outlet temperature. A standard mixing valve and a thermostatic mixing valve are different components, so confirm which one is included or required.

Powered by the force of running water, EcoPower hydro-turbines create an electrical current that is stored in rechargeable cells to power the Smart Sensor System of the faucet. The EcoPower faucet is highly efficient, replenishing power stores with no minimum daily usage. No external power source or battery replacement is necessary. The sensor is located at the tip of the spout to more accurately sense the hands of the user for touchless use. The on-demand system means that water flows only when needed and cannot be accidentally left running. When hands are present, the water will flow. When hands are removed, the water stops.
