This can be mounted on a Toto base for the auto flush feature, but I haven't done any of those. I have just mounted the seats on regular old toilets. I have a Toto from a couple of years ago and was excited about the new S7A. The newest seat (S7A) is a tankless water heater design, and heats the water on demand. Not having a small tank in the seat makes the toilet seat less bulky, and also offers an endless supply of warm water. Previous models would run out of warm water after about 30 seconds. The thinner profile is less bulky and more appealing. The older Toto remotes looked like a TV remote and were aligned vertically. This new remote that comes with the S7A is more like a game console where you hold it horizontally and use your thumbs. It's kind of weird to use a remote control with two hands instead of one, but it's not a bad design. You MUST read the manual and/or watch the videos to configure all the settings. There are a ton of personalization settings (water temp, fan speed, fan temp, nozzle position, etc.) and you can program up to 4 different person's preferences into this remote. You'll need to do some prep work before installing any bidet with a water heater. The seat needs to be plugged into a power outlet, and the power cord on the Toto S7A is 4ft long. Make plans to install an outlet close to toilet on a GFCI circuit. Once power is installed, you put a T connector on the toilet tank for water supply to the seat. I was a little hesitant to use the plastic fitting that comes with the toilet seat. Rest-assured, I have been using the plastic Toto T connector on another installation for over a year without any issues, failures, leaks, or drips. The seat comes with a mounting bracket that screws onto the toilet base, then the seat clicks on with a quick attach feature. It has a quick attach/detach that is strong and doesn't accidentally come loose. The initial mounting does take some time and dry fitting to get it to be centered on the toilet base you're using. Be prepared for a lot of trial and error and minor adjustments. The mounting bracket allows the seat to be installed on virtually any toilet base. It's very adjustable and can be adapted to many tank sizes and styles.

Easy install, clean appearance and great features.

My wife has wanted one of these for a long time. Now that we have one I don't know how we survived without it. The installation was easy it works even with our generic brand toilet. It's got too many features to list. The heated seat with temp control is my favorite. It also lifts the lid and seat from the remote and automatically closes both of them when you walk away. The nightlights work great it's got one on the outside and one inside the bowl. The only complaint my wife has is that the front wash setting doesn't move forward enough so she has to lean forward for it to work.

Buying a bidet was one of my best decisions ever. I love the rear and feminine washes, and the self-cleaning features. I also like the warm seat, something I thought wasn't necessary. What I wouldn't get next time is the automatic open and close lid. It's annoying when I'm in the bathroom but not using the toilet.
