This version of the TOTO UltraMax II features CEFIONTECT, a layer of specially engineered ultra-smooth glaze that prevents particles and debris from adhering to the inner surface of the bowl. These features assist in reducing the frequency of toilet cleanings required, minimizing the usage of water, harsh chemicals, and time required for cleaning. The one-piece design does not only look clean and minimalist, but also offers the benefit of being easier to clean versus a two-piece toilet. By removing the gap between the tank and bowl, TOTO eliminated the hiding place for dirt and dust. An additional benefit of the one-piece toilet is that there is no threat of leaks from bolts or gaskets that can occur in two-piece toilets.
The UltraMax II offers native Washlet+ compatibility for when you are ready to upgrade, by including a channel on the bowl surface to help conceal your Washlet supply line and power cord for seamless integration. The TOTO UltraMax II is designed in TOTO's Universal Height, which allows for a more comfortable seat position across a wider range of users. The UltraMax II is ADA compliant and meets the standards for EPA WaterSense, and California's CEC and CALGreen requirements.
The TOTO UltraMax II includes a tank to bowl gasket, tank to bowl hardware, toilet bolt caps and SoftClose toilet seat. Additional items needed for installation and use must be purchased separately: wax ring, toilet mounting bolts, and water supply lines.

• What if my order arrives damaged?

• What about the seat height?
Most standard toilets are 16-17 inches from the floor to the top of the seat, or about 15 inches to the bowl rim. Universal height (or comfort height) toilets, like the one you're looking at, are roughly an inch taller—around 16 inches from the floor to the bowl rim, or 17-18 inches to the seat. Universal height toilets are designed to provide greater comfort for a wider range of users, making it easier to sit and stand, especially for older adults. Keep in mind that while universal height is one of the requirements for ADA compliance, other factors also come into play.
• Is the seat included?
Yes, this toilet includes the original TOTO SoftClose toilet seat.
• Will I regret not choosing a toilet with a higher flush volume?

TOTO's Tornado Flush technology uses 3-inch flush valves (instead of traditional flappers) to force water into dual nozzles, creating powerful cyclonic rinsing action. This causes the water to spin in a vortex inside the bowl, making sure every part of it is thoroughly cleaned. The pressure from the nozzles improves both cleansing and bowl evacuation. Other innovations include fully glazed, extra-smooth trapways that prevent debris from sticking, extra-large siphon jets, and seamless, concave rim designs – all working together to make this toilet's flush more than enough for jobs of all magnitudes.
• What is this Washlet+ stuff?
This toilet is Washlet+ compatible. Washlet+ compatible toilets have a special channel (a strategically placed hole) on the bowl surface to help conceal a bidet seat's supply line and power cord for a cleaner look. Other than that, it functions as a standard toilet, and you can use it without a washlet. A washlet will also work with a non-Washlet+ toilet, but the wires will be visible.
