The Excel Dryer 601161A XLERATOR is a high-speed, automatic hand dryer designed for 110 - 120V commercial installations. The infrared sensor starts the unit when hands are placed below the air outlet, while adjustable speed and heat settings allow its performance and energy use to be configured for the facility. The heating system can be operated at high, medium or low output, or switched off entirely.

This model has a bright chrome-plated cover and includes Excel Dryer's 1.1" noise-reduction nozzle. The wider nozzle reduces air-deflection noise by approximately 9 decibels, although the manufacturer notes that drying time may increase by about three seconds. The dryer also includes a washable pre-filter, an externally visible troubleshooting LED and a 7-year limited warranty.
