Clean the fireclay surface with mild dish detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth or sponge, then rinse and dry it. Use a cleaner approved for this material for tougher marks. Steel wool, harsh abrasives, and concentrated chemicals can damage the finish; do not use the basin as a cutting surface.
• What cabinet size and countertop cutout do I need?
The listed minimum cabinet width is 36 inches. Allow room inside for the bowl, mounting hardware, drain, and any disposal or other accessories; the cabinet's outside width alone does not confirm fit. Have the installer use the actual sink and its installation template before making the countertop cutout. An apron-front installation also needs the specified cabinet opening and support beneath the sink.
• Can I put hot pots directly into the sink?
