Frequently Asked Questions
• What if my order arrives damaged?
While we take great care in the packaging and handling of orders, we ask that customers inspect all shipments within 48 hours of delivery, and in the rare event that your order arrives damaged, please send us an email with a photo showing the damages (so we can file a claim with the carrier), and let us know whether you prefer a free replacement or a refund.
• Why do you ask for phone numbers during checkout?
Some shipping carriers, especially those handling freight, require a phone number to coordinate your delivery. We respect your privacy and guarantee that any information you provide will never be shared with third parties, except for shipping purposes.
• Is the included seat heated or does it have bidet functions?
No. This configuration includes a SoftClose seat, which lowers gently but does not provide water cleansing or electric seat heating. Those features require a compatible electronic WASHLET purchased separately. Check the exact toilet and WASHLET model pairing before ordering an upgrade.
• How much space does this toilet need from front to back?
This round-front UltraMax is approximately 26-3/8 inches long from the back of the toilet to the front of the bowl. Allow additional room for the installation gap, door movement, and required clearance in front. Compare the dimensional drawing with your bathroom before ordering.
• Can I use drop-in cleaning tablets in the toilet tank?
No. TOTO advises against in-tank bowl cleaners because concentrated cleaning chemicals can damage the internal seals and fittings and lead to leaks. Clean the bowl separately with a non-abrasive cleaner and a soft brush, following the toilet care instructions.
The TOTO Ultramax One-Piece Round 1.28 GPF Auto Flush Ready Universal Height Toilet with CEFIONTECT has a sleek and clean high-profile design, upholding TOTO's vision to create a culture of comfortable, healthy living. The TOTO Ultramax features a modern, one-piece design that will instantly elevate any bathroom decor. The one-piece design is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also offers the benefit of being easier to clean versus a two-piece toilet.
By removing the gap between the tank and bowl, dirt and debris have no place to hide. An additional benefit of the one-piece toilet is that there is no threat of leaks from bolts or gaskets that can occur in two-piece toilets.
The TOTO UltraMax features TOTO's Tornado Flush, a hole-free rim design with dual-nozzles that create a high-pressure centrifugal washing action that washes the bowl more efficiently than regular flushing mechanisms. It also includes CEFIONTECT, a layer of exceptionally smooth ceramic glaze that minimizes waste from sticking to the inner surface of the toilet bowl. This feature, coupled with TORNADO FLUSH, assists to reduce the frequency of toilet cleanings, minimizing the usage of water, harsh chemicals, and time required for cleaning.
This one-piece toilet is designed with Universal Height, allowing for a more comfortable seated position across a wide range of users.
This version of the UltraMax offers Auto Flush compatibility for when you are ready to upgrade to a hands-free flush system with electronic bidet seat.
Please note: while this UltraMax toilet can be used with a rounded washlet bidet seat, such as S2, S5, or S7(A), is NOT Washlet+ and will not conceal the water connection.
The UltraMax comes ready for install into a 12" rough-in. The Ultramax is ADA compliant and meets the standards for EPA WaterSense and CALGreen requirements. Features a left-hand chrome trip lever and includes TOTO SoftClose seat SS113. Additional items needed for installation and use must be purchased separately: Wax ring, toilet mounting bolts, and water supply lines.
