Frequently Asked Questions
• What if my order arrives damaged?
While we take great care in the packaging and handling of orders, we ask that customers inspect all shipments within 48 hours of delivery, and in the rare event that your order arrives damaged, please send us an email with a photo showing the damages (so we can file a claim with the carrier), and let us know whether you prefer a free replacement or a refund.
• Why do you ask for phone numbers during checkout?
Some shipping carriers, especially those handling freight, require a phone number to coordinate your delivery. We respect your privacy and guarantee that any information you provide will never be shared with third parties, except for shipping purposes.
• Is this a complete toilet, or just the replacement tank?
This listing is for the ST472ER#01 Glaston tank and its supplied installation hardware. The bowl and toilet seat are separate purchases. Pair it only with the corresponding Glaston bowl specified by TOTO; matching the brand or color alone does not establish tank-to-bowl compatibility.
• Does this tank offer both a light flush and a full flush?
No. This is a single-flush 1.28-gallon-per-flush tank when paired with its specified Glaston bowl. It is not a dual-flush tank, and changing the water-level setting is not a supported way to create a second flush volume.
• Can I use drop-in cleaning tablets in the toilet tank?
No. TOTO advises against in-tank bowl cleaners because concentrated cleaning chemicals can damage the internal seals and fittings and lead to leaks. Clean the bowl separately with a non-abrasive cleaner and a soft brush, following the toilet care instructions.
The TOTO Glaston 1.28 GPF Toilet Tank is designed for use with the Glaston bowl. Compatible Glaston bowls feature TORNADO FLUSH: A hole-free rim design with dual-nozzles that creates a centrifugal washing action that assists in rinsing the bowl more efficiently. The Glaston tank comes equipped with a decorative right-hand chrome trip lever. When paired with the corresponding TOTO Glaston bowl, the Glaston tank meets the standards for EPA WaterSense and CALGreen requirements.
Additional items needed for installation and use must be purchased separately: TOTO Glaston bowl, wax ring, toilet mounting bolts, water supply lines and a toilet seat.
