• What does back-spud vs top-spud mean?
Spud refers to where the valve connects to the urinal - back-spud valves enter from the wall behind the urinal, top-spud valves enter from above. Check your existing urinal's water inlet position before ordering. The two aren't interchangeable.
• Does ECOPOWER need batteries or external power?

• Is the vacuum breaker included?
Yes. The vacuum breaker set ships with the valve. It prevents backflow from the urinal into the supply line - a code requirement in most commercial installations. Saves you from having to purchase and install one separately.
• Will this work with my existing urinal?
This 0.125 GPF valve is designed for commercial urinals rated for the same flow. Will work with any flushometer-style urinal that has a back-spud water inlet and a matching 0.125 GPF flow rating. Match the GPF to your urinal's rating - installing the wrong rate will cause clogs or wasted water.
